Srinagar Logs Season's Hottest Day At 35.3degC
Srinagar, June 29 -- Srinagar- Kashmir witnessed one of its hottest days of the summer on Monday, with Srinagar recording a season-high maximum temperature of 35.3 degrees Celsius as an intense heatwave gripped the Valley for the third consecutive day.
The temperature in the summer capital was 5.3 degrees Celsius above normal, while several other parts of Kashmir also recorded unusually high temperatures, according to the Meteorological Department.
