Srinagar, Aug. 11 -- Srinagar- Holding that sporting achievements cannot override the discipline governing government service, the High Court of J&K and Ladakh on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association seeking permission for government employee Bilquis Mir to serve as Chief Coach of the Indian National Kayaking and Canoeing Team for the Asian Games 2026 and undertake other international sporting assignments.
