Srinagar, May 11 -- Srinagar- Acting swiftly on a complaint over alleged illegal construction on a disputed Nazool property at Karan Nagar Chowk in the city, the Enforcement Wing of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation on Monday stopped the ongoing work and demolished an illegally erected wall at the site.

The action was taken after a written complaint was submitted to the Chief Enforcement Officer by prominent businessman Nazir Ahmed Mir, alleging that unauthorized construction activity was being carried out on the disputed property without lawful permission. The complaint stated that the construction was in violation of municipal laws and could potentially trigger disputes and law and order issues in the area.
