Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday informed the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly that Rs.3.22 crore had been disbursed to families affected by flash floods and landslides in Rajouri constituency, while a proposal for permanent restoration of 403 roads and bridges in the district had been prepared at an estimated cost of Rs.185 crore.

Replying to a question by Rajouri MLA Iftikhar Ahmed during Question Hour of the Autumn Session, Omar Abdullah, who also holds the Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction portfolio, said 149 family-wise cases relating to damages caused by flash floods and landslides had been received by the District Administration Rajouri.
