Srinagar, July 28 -- Srinagar- Moderate to heavy rainfall lashed several parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, while a cloudburst in north Kashmir's Bandipora district triggered flash floods, prompting the Meteorological Department to warn of more rain and weather-related hazards across the Union Territory over the coming days.

According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in parts of Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore and Bandipora in north Kashmir. Heavy showers were also reported from Ganderbal, Kokernag and several areas of south Kashmir's Anantnag district.

In the Jammu region, rain lashed Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar districts.
