Over 20 Lakh eSanjeevani Consultations in J&K: GoI
Srinagar, July 25 -- Srinagar- The Government of India (GoI) on Friday informed Parliament that more than 20.05 lakh teleconsultations have been conducted through the eSanjeevani National Telemedicine Service in Jammu & Kashmir, aimed at improving access to healthcare in remote and border areas.
Replying to an unstarred question in the Lok Sabha, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said Jammu & Kashmir has 512 operational hubs and 1,903 operational spokes under the eSanjeevani platform. Of the total teleconsultations, 18.58 lakh were provided through Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, while 1.46 lakh consultations were conducted through the eSanjeevani OPD service.
