Op Sindoor, Border Preparedness Reviewed By Parl Panel In J&K
Srinagar, June 23 -- Srinagar- Security officials on Tuesday briefed the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs on measures taken to strengthen India's borders following Operation Sindoor and outlined future preparedness plans during the panel's ongoing visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
The committee, chaired by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, is on a four-day study tour of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to review strategic border security and foreign policy issues.
Committee member Rajiv Shukla said the interaction with army and security officials focused on border protection and the performance of the armed forces during Operation Sindoor.
