Srinagar, Sept. 8 -- Srinagar- The National Conference (NC) on Tuesday paid tributes to party founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 44th death anniversary, with senior leaders, legislators, workers and supporters gathering at his mausoleum in Naseem Bagh, Srinagar.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah visited Sheikh Abdullah's grave and paid floral tributes. They also offered Fateha and prayed at the mausoleum.

Ministers, MPs, MLAs, senior party functionaries and workers were also present on the occasion and paid homage to the late leader, popularly known as "Sher-e-Kashmir".
