Srinagar, Aug. 15 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places between August 16 and 19, with the Meteorological Centre Srinagar warning of heavy and brief intense showers in some districts that may trigger flash floods, landslides and mudslides.

The weather office said from August 16 to 19, several spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected at many places, while heavy rain or brief intense heavy showers may occur in a few districts, particularly during the early morning and afternoon hours.
