Srinagar, Aug. 6 -- Srinagar- A man was killed while three others sustained injuries after they suffered an electric shock in the Ramsoo area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

An official said that the incident occurred in Ramsoo, where four persons received an electric shock due to a suspected short circuit.

He said all the injured were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal for treatment, where one of them succumbed to injuries, while the other three are undergoing treatment, reported news agency KNO.

The injured have been identified as Yasir Ahmad (70), son of Farooq Ahmad; Ishfaq Ahmad (25), son of Khursheed Ahmad; and Mohammad Yousuf (35), son of Mohammad Haneef, all residents of Sarbagni.
