India, Oct. 12 -- Mamta Yadav, IAS, on Monday assumed charge as Director Information, Jammu and Kashmir, and interacted with officers and officials of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).

During the interaction, Yadav emphasised the need for transparent, accurate and timely dissemination of information regarding government policies, developmental initiatives and public welfare programmes.
