LG Warns Officials, Public Figures Linked To Drug Networks in J&K
Srinagar, May 23 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said narco-terrorists would be driven out from every corner of Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that people across the Union Territory have united against the growing drug menace and its links with terrorism.
The Lieutenant Governor made the remarks while joining the "Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Padyatra" in Shopian, where citizens from different walks of life participated in the anti-drug campaign.
Addressing the gathering, Sinha said the anti-drug movement that began 43 days ago in Jammu had now transformed into a powerful grassroots campaign across the Union Territory.
