Srinagar, July 22 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive review of the situation arising from heavy rainfall, flash floods and landslides across the Union Territory, directing all concerned departments to intensify rescue operations, expedite restoration works and ensure public safety in vulnerable areas.

The Lieutenant Governor said he remained in constant touch with senior officials and received regular updates on the ground situation and relief efforts in the affected districts.

"I spoke with senior officials today to assess the ground situation in districts affected by heavy rains, flash floods and landslides across Jammu and Kashmir," Sinha said in a post on X.
