Srinagar, April 13 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday extended his greetings to the people on the eve of Baisakhi and the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar.
In his message on Baisakhi, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed his best wishes and described the festival as a reminder of the contributions of farmers whose "labour, sacrifice, and dedication sustain the very foundation of our nation."
He also highlighted the historical significance of the festival, noting that it marks the foundation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh. He urged people to recommit to the Guru's teachings of righteousness, unity, devotion, and selfless service, expressing hope that the festival brings prosperity and joy to all.
