Kulgam Terror Attack: Hunt Intensified After 2 Migrant Workers Killed
Srinagar, Aug. 1 -- Srinagar- Security forces on Saturday intensified search operations across south Kashmir to track down the terrorists responsible for killing two migrant labourers in Kulgam district, even as Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ordered high-impact anti-terror operations and political parties demanded a thorough investigation into the attack.
The two labourers, Deepak Ratre (24) and Bhupendra Bhaina (28), both residents of Chhattisgarh, were shot by terrorists at a brick kiln in Kelam village of Kulgam district on Friday evening. While Ratre died shortly after the attack, Bhaina succumbed to his injuries during treatment at SKIMS Soura on Saturday, taking the death toll to two.
