Srinagar, April 22 -- Srinagar- The district administrations across Kashmir have announced civil defence mock drills, including air raid simulations and brief night blackouts, as part of emergency preparedness measures.

According to official notices, Kupwara will conduct the exercise on April 24, with a drill at 3:30 PM followed by a blackout from 8:00 PM to 8:10 PM. Anantnag will hold a similar exercise a day earlier, on April 23, with identical timings for both the daytime drill and the evening blackout.

Meanwhile, in Ganderbal district, the administration has finalised arrangements for a large-scale mock drill scheduled for Thursday. The exercise will simulate an air raid and district-wide blackout at Government Degree College (GDC) ...
