Srinagar, Sept. 8 -- Srinagar- The High Court of J&K and Ladakh here has granted anticipatory bail to two accused persons in connection with an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case relating to the alleged illegal construction of a multi-storey building in the flood basin/fringe area of River Jhelum at Rajbagh here.

A bench of Justice Sanjay Dhar, while hearing a petition challenging FIR No. 10/2026 and a connected anticipatory bail application, observed that although the investigation into the allegations was required to proceed, custodial interrogation of the petitioners, two beneficiaries, did not appear necessary at this stage.
