Srinagar, May 13 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Advocate Abdul Rahim Rather has constituted several key House committees, including the Public Accounts Committee, Estimates Committee, Public Undertakings Committee and other standing panels for the year 2026-27, according to official notifications issued by the Assembly Secretariat.

The notifications stated that consensus was reached among different legislature parties regarding nomination of members to the financial committees instead of holding elections under the proportional representation process.
