Srinagar, Sept. 14 -- Srinagar- The overall security situation in Jammu and Kashmir remains firmly under control, with a significant decline in violence, scaled-down protests and zero incidents of stone pelting, according to the Ministry of Defence's annual report for 2025-26.

The report said the Indian Army's efforts, coupled with public participation in various government and Army-run initiatives, have contributed to an improvement in the security situation across the Union Territory.
