Srinagar, June 18 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir administration has intensified preparations for the annual Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to begin on July 3, with authorities reviewing pilgrim facilities, strengthening infrastructure and tightening security arrangements across the Union Territory.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Thursday said all departments were working in close coordination to ensure smooth conduct of the pilgrimage and provide timely services to devotees undertaking the annual yatra.

"There is a well-established system in place for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. Like every year, the pilgrimage will commence on July 3, and all departments are working to provide services in a timely manner," Garg told repor...
