Srinagar, July 3 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is set to witness a fresh spell of rain and thundershowers over the coming days, with the Meteorological Department warning that heavy rainfall at a few places could trigger localised flash floods and landslides.

According to the Meteorological Centre, Srinagar, one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at many places across Jammu and Kashmir from July 4 to 5, mainly during the late afternoon, evening and late night or early morning hours.

Heavy rainfall or brief intense showers accompanied by thunderstorms are also expected at a few places during the period.
