Srinagar, July 4 -- Srinagar - Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday reviewed the overall management of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and appealed to pilgrims to undertake the pilgrimage only after obtaining a valid registration, saying a large influx of unregistered devotees was causing delays and inconvenience.

Chairing a high-level meeting attended by senior civil, police, security and Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board officials, Sinha assessed the movement of pilgrims, traffic management, security arrangements, accommodation, registration status and other logistical aspects to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
