Srinagar, May 5 -- Srinagar- Stepping up the government's anti-drug campaign, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday joined a massive padyatra in Budgam and pledged sweeping action against drug smugglers, while calling for a united societal response to curb the growing menace.
Addressing participants, the Lieutenant Governor said the fight against drugs cannot be won by law enforcement alone and urged families, community leaders and youth to become active stakeholders in the campaign for a drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
