Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 136 officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) across various departments and districts.

The transfers were ordered with immediate effect by the General Administration Department (GAD) through Government Order No. 1463-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated September 1.

Among the key appointments, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, JKAS, Member of the J&K Special Tribunal, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, against an available vacancy.
