India, March 20 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted a Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) to examine and vet the proposed "Classroom Digital Board" project, officials said.As per Government Order No. 424-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, the committee will be headed by the Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA.

The panel includes the State Informatics Officer, NIC J&K, and representatives from IIT Jammu and NIT Srinagar. The Under Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, will serve as Member-Convener.

The Additional Secretary, School Education Department, has been designated as the Single Point of Contact for the project.
