Srinagar, July 14 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned Rs 25.36 crore towards payment of honorarium for officials engaged in the Census 2027 exercise, directing that the amount be disbursed to eligible functionaries by July 31.

According to an order issued by the Planning Development and Monitoring Department (PD&MD), Rs 2,536.51 lakh has been authorised for transfer to nodal officers, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners and municipal commissioners for distribution among enumerators, supervisors and other eligible census personnel.
