Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness a prolonged wet spell over the coming days, with light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers forecast at many places and heavy rain or brief intense showers possible in parts of the Union Territory from August 16 to 19, the Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

According to the MeT forecast, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at many places across J&K between August 13 and 15, with brief intense showers expected during the early morning and late afternoon to evening hours.
