J&K Eases School Approval Norms
India, Oct. 6 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has amended the J&K School Education Rules, 2010, replacing several certification requirements for schools with self-attested certificates.
The amendments have been notified by the School Education Department under Section 29 of the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Act, 2002, through an order issued by the Lieutenant Governor.
Under the amended rules, schools seeking approvals will submit self-attested certificates confirming compliance with traffic safety requirements, building safety norms and fire safety measures.
