J&K Digitises 70 Lakh Land Parcels
Srinagar, Aug. 25 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir has accelerated the digitisation and updation of nearly 70 lakh land parcels as part of efforts to modernise revenue administration and create a verified land database for integration with the Centre's AgriStack framework, officials said.
The exercise, being carried out by the Revenue Department in collaboration with BISAG-N under the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), has so far resulted in more than 13 lakh rectifications following discrepancies detected during verification and grievances raised by the public.
More than 2,500 revenue field functionaries have been given role-based access for data entry, verification and approval, officials said.
