Srinagar, Aug. 7 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness another wet spell from August 9, with the Meteorological Department warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of the Jammu division and the possibility of flash floods and landslides at vulnerable locations.

According to the MeT department, one or two spells of light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected at many places on August 8, with brief intense showers likely at a few locations.

From August 9 to 11, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely at most places across the Union Territory, the department said.
