Srinagar, Aug. 27 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally hot and humid weather over the next 10 days, with brief spells of rain and thundershowers expected at scattered places, the Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.

According to the forecast, brief spells of rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered places during the early morning and afternoon hours from August 28 to 30.

The weather is expected to remain generally hot and humid on August 31 and September 1, with light to moderate rain and thundershowers likely at many places. Brief spells of intense rain may also occur during the early morning and afternoon hours.
