Srinagar, May 26 -- Srinagar- Jammu & Kashmir Bank recorded over 12 crore transactions worth more than Rs 15,000 crore during the week leading up to Eid-ul-Azha, reflecting a major surge in digital banking activity and festive business across Jammu and Kashmir.The Bank also registered its highest-ever single-day transaction volume on May 25, when customers carried out nearly 1.69 crore transactions involving Rs 2,848 crore, setting a new benchmark in its digital banking history.

According to officials, more than 95 per cent of the total transactions during the festive week were executed digitally, underlining the growing customer shift towards technology-driven banking services.
