Srinagar, Aug. 21 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has announced the Annual Transfer Drive for 2026, inviting online applications from eligible teachers, masters, lecturers, principals, headmasters, Zonal Education Officers and equivalent employees from August 23 to September 8.

The department issued the notification on August 21 after the government notified the Transfer Policy, 2026 on August 20, aimed at ensuring equitable distribution of human resources, institutional efficiency, transparency in decision-making and continuity of academic activities.
