Srinagar, May 19 -- Srinagar- A three-month-old child died and a woman sustained serious injuries after a collision involving two vehicles near Peaks Automobile in the Uranhall area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

The accident involved an auto load carrier bearing registration number JK03N-4521 and an Xtreme vehicle bearing registration number CH01A4-0953.

Officials said the auto load carrier was being driven by Shabir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Jablipora, while the driver of the second vehicle could not be immediately identified.

The collision occurred near Peaks Automobile at Uranhall Bijbehara, resulting in serious injuries to two passengers travelling in the load carrier.
