India's Quantum Push Reaches From Kashmir to Bengaluru
Srinagar, June 20 -- BENGALURU - India is investing billions of dollars in a technology many scientists believe could transform computing, cybersecurity and communications. But one of its biggest challenges is building people rather than machines.
That challenge brought together two unlikely partners this week: a startup from Srinagar and a university in Bengaluru, India's technology capital.
Chinar Quantum AI and Christ University have launched a Quantum Hub aimed at training students, supporting research and helping move quantum technologies from laboratories into the marketplace.
The partnership comes as India seeks to establish itself in a global race that has drawn massive investments from the United States, China and Europe.
