Srinagar, Aug. 12 -- Srinagar- Heavy rains triggered severe waterlogging on the Srinagar-Anantnag road at Awantipora on Wednesday, disrupting traffic and leaving the movement of commuters severely affected.

The road stretch has been inundated with a substantial accumulation of rainwater, prompting police personnel to reach the spot and stop vehicles from proceeding through the affected portion.

Traffic movement on the waterlogged stretch has been suspended and vehicles are being diverted through alternate routes to prevent further disruption and possible damage to vehicles.
