Srinagar, July 22 -- Srinagar- Widespread rainfall continued across Jammu and Kashmir during the past 24 hours, with Kathua recording the highest precipitation in the Union Territory and Gulmarg receiving the maximum rainfall in the Kashmir Valley, according to rainfall data released on Wednesday.

As per figures shared by independent weather forecaster Faizan Arif, Kashmir Weather, several parts of the Valley saw moderate to heavy showers.

In the Kashmir region, Gulmarg received the maximum of 55.0 mm, followed by Baramulla with 37.5 mm and Tangmarg with 28.2 mm. Other notable recordings include Pahalgam 23.8 mm, Lolab 22.4 mm, Awantipora 21.0 mm, Nowgam Handwara 21.2 mm, Qazigund 19.6 mm, and Bumhama Kupwara 19.8 mm.
