Heat Persists; Rain Likely in Kashmir From Jul 11
Srinagar, July 9 -- Srinagar- Hot and humid weather is likely to persist across Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, with the Meteorological Department forecasting heavy rainfall in parts of Jammu division from July 11 and warning of possible flash floods, landslides and mudslides in vulnerable areas.
The MeT Centre Srinagar said the weather would remain generally hot and humid on July 9 and 10, with scattered spells of rain and thundershowers likely across the Union Territory. A few places in Jammu division may also witness brief but intense heavy showers.
