HC Seeks Action Plan On Building, Fire Safety Violations In Jammu
Srinagar, Aug. 29 -- Srinagar- The High Court of J&K and Ladakh has directed the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to file a fresh and comprehensive affidavit detailing the action taken and proposed against establishments violating building regulations, parking norms and fire safety requirements.
A bench of Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, while hearing a matter concerning enforcement of statutory norms, observed that the affidavit filed in compliance with earlier directions of the Court was deficient and did not adequately address the specific issues raised.
