India, March 12 -- The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a change in the date of the public holiday on account of Jumat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan.

According to an official order issued as a partial modification to Government Order No. 1894-JK(GAD) of 2025 and Government Order No. 1895-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated December 12, 2025, the holiday will now be observed on March 13, 2026 (Friday) instead of the earlier notified date of March 20, 2026 (Friday) across the Union Territory.

With the revised notification, all government offices, educational institutions, and other public sector establishments in the Union Territory will now observe the holiday tomorrow.
