GOI Taking Steps To Curb Paper Leaks: Murmu In I-Day Address
Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- Srinagar- President Droupadi Murmu on Friday said the government is undertaking comprehensive reforms in public examinations to completely curb paper leaks and unfair means, while asserting that India continues to move ahead as the world's fastest-growing major economy despite global instability.
Addressing the nation on the eve of the 80th Independence Day, Murmu said students are the "architects of India's future" and stressed the need for collective efforts to safeguard their present and future.
"Public examinations become gateways to opportunities for our students. The government is undertaking comprehensive steps to reform these examinations," she said.
