Srinagar, May 18 -- Srinagar - The Gauri Kaul Foundation (GKF), a non-profit organisation working to improve access to cardiac healthcare in Jammu and Kashmir, has been recognised with the "Best NGO in Healthcare and Heart Disease" award for its efforts to expand specialised medical services across underserved communities, according to a statement released by the organisation.

The award was conferred by the Integrated Global Health Care Mission in association with Advanced Media Group and Med Gate Today magazine. GKF Director Dr Priyadarshini received the award from MedGate Today Editor-in-Chief Afzal Kamal during a recent ceremony, the statement said.
