Srinagar, April 17 -- Srinagar- The High Court of J&K and Ladakh has rejected a bail application of an accused arrested from New Delhi last year in a narcotics case registered at Police Station Ganderbal, holding that the material on record prima facie establishes his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy.

The accused, MD Monish, had sought bail in FIR No. 276/2024 under Sections 8/21 and 29 of the NDPS Act with his counsel arguing that no contraband was recovered from his possession and that his alleged role was based solely on disclosure statements and financial transactions lacking evidentiary value.
