Srinagar, April 23 -- Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir's anti-drug campaign is gaining momentum on multiple fronts, with enforcement agencies tightening surveillance on the ground and religious institutions stepping in to amplify awareness at the community level.
In south Kashmir's Shopian district, police have deployed a specialised canine unit to strengthen action against drug trafficking. The move, carried out in coordination with the Central Reserve Police Force's 14th Battalion, is part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan aimed at curbing the narcotics trade.
