Srinagar, Sept. 21 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed the House that it is examining a uniform framework for the regularisation of temporary workers, including daily-rated workers, casual and seasonal labourers, and other contractual and need-based employees engaged across departments.

In a written response to a question raised by MLA Irfan Hafiz Lone, the government said the matter is being examined by a committee constituted through Government Order No. 384-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated March 19, 2025.
