Srinagar, Sept. 1 -- Srinagar- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch, Jammu and Kashmir, has filed a chargesheet against a Srinagar resident in a case involving an alleged attempt to grab land and secure building permission using forged documents.

The chargesheet in FIR No. 08/2016, registered under Sections 420/511, 167, 471 and 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC), has been filed before the court of the Sub-Judge, Srinagar, against Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Ahmad Malik, a resident of Barapather, Haft Chinar, Srinagar, and a then Patwari who has since died.
