Srinagar, July 25 -- Srinagar- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir on Saturday said it has filed a chargesheet against a Pattan resident for allegedly duping a youth of lakhs of rupees by promising him a rupees 90,000-per-month job in Cambodia, where the victim was instead forced into online scam operations.

In a statement, a spokesperson said the Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Kashmir, of Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet in FIR No. 19/2026 under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against Mohd Yaseen Rather, son of Nisar Ahmad Rather, a resident of Kripalpora Payeen, Pattan, before the Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class.
