Srinagar, July 23 -- Srinagar- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch, Jammu and Kashmir, has filed a charge sheet against four persons in connection with an alleged cheating case involving shawls worth over Rs 2.5 crore, officials said on Wednesday.

The charge sheet was filed before the Court of Sub Judge Small Causes, Srinagar, in FIR No. 55/2022 under relevant provisions of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC), they said.

According to officials, the accused identified as (1) Arshid Ahmad Shora @Bilal, S/o Late Abdul Rashid Shora, R/o Pakhribal Botakadal, Lalbazar, Srinagar; (2) Firdous Ahmad Mir, S/o Abdul Rehman Mir, R/o Abikarpora, Rainawari, A/P Madina Colony, Near R.P. School, Mallabagh, Srinagar; (3) Firdous Ahmad Bhat, S/o...
