India, Sept. 18 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of Crime Branch J&K has arrested a man in connection with an alleged Rs 93 lakh land and property fraud case.

The accused, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din Dar, son of Abdul Khaliq Dar, a resident of Jawalapora, Samson Budgam, was arrested in compliance with an order and warrant issued by the Court of Sub-Judge, Srinagar, officials said.

According to the EOW, Dar had been evading arrest for nearly a year and is allegedly involved in multiple cases registered at Police Station EOW Kashmir and SCW Kashmir of Crime Branch J&K.

The arrest is linked to FIR No. 17/2026 registered under Sections 318(4), 338, 340 and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Police Station EOW Kashmir.
