Srinagar, July 2 -- Srinagar- Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday directed the officers to ensure thorough yet pilgrim-friendly security checks and maintain seamless movement of Amarnath Yatris.

DGP Prabhat visited the Nunwan Base Camp at Pahalgam to review the arrangements made for the smooth, safe, and hassle-free conduct of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.

He stressed the need for close coordination among all security agencies and civil administration to ensure a secure, peaceful, and hassle-free pilgrimage.
